Monmap Engineering Services Co., Ltd was incorporated in Mongolia in November, 1992. The founding shareholders are experienced professional Mongolian geoscience engineers. The company’s prime objective is to provide:

• high quality geological mapping
• ground and airborne geophysical prospecting
• topographic surveying services with practical and modern technology.

Currently, the company employs over 30 professional earthsciense engineers. During busy times of the year, the company also hires 15 to 26 additional contract personnel on a project-by-project and as needed basis. On average, Monmap has between 3 to 6 geomapping crews and topographic teams actively in the field.

The company’s annual gross revenue has been increasing steadily each year. Monmap has been contracted to perform mapping, remote sensing, geophysical, geological, geochemical and other geoscientific surveys for many international projects financed by the Asian Development Bank, World Bank and international companies from countries including Japan, USA, Germany, France & UK (see the list of projects Monmap was involved in as an independent contractor).

Monmap has at its disposal a wide range of topographic survey and geomapping equipment with the appropriate computer hardware and software. Also monmap is capable of ground and airborne geophysical survey, geological and mining database development, and geological analysis.

Monmap Engineering Ltd offers engineering services to construction, mining and oil exploration companies. Our experience in topographic, geophysical and geological applications allow us to incorporate the correct technology for fast, accurate and cost effective analysis.

Monmap Engineering operates nationwide and are able to establish temporary offices wherever necessary and currently have representative offices in Canada and Japan.
